Rachel completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at the University of Western Ontario with honours and completed her training at The Michener Institute in Toronto and has has worked with St. Michael’s Hospital as well as various Community Health Centres around the GTA.

Rachel worked at the long-standing Women’s College Hospital Foot Care Centre for 7 years and helped grow the practice from an orthotics-only practice to a full scope multi-disciplinary practice. She has a special interest in biomechanics and is committed to providing the best possible care for her clients by working with various modalities to find a solution that works for her clients and their lifestyles.

In her spare time she enjoys making pottery, weightlifting and playing with her two rescue cats.

Jessamine received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University, and continued her education at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences where she graduated with distinction from the Chiropody program.

Jessamine has gained extensive clinical experience from community health centres, hospitals and private clinical settings. She is extremely passionate about providing professional quality foot care and comprehensive treatment plans for patients of all ages. She has a keen interest in ingrown nail and soft tissue surgeries. 

She enjoys playing tennis and working out, going to the park with her dog, knitting, going to concerts and traveling the world.

Janaany completed her Advanced Diploma of Chiropody from The Michener Institute of Education at UHN and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour from McMaster University.

Janaany has gained valuable experience in various clinical settings including the Michener Chiropody Clinic, Newmarket Foot Centre, St. Michael’s Hospital, and Sumac Creek Health Centre. Her clinical experience has helped her strengthen her knowledge of high-risk foot care, cutaneous disorders of the foot, biomechanical care, diabetic wound care, and painful ingrown toenails.

Some of Janaany’s strengths include being detail-oriented, excellent patient interaction, the ability to work under pressure, great communication, good critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. She is passionate about advocating for her patient’s foot health.

In her free time, she likes going to the gym, learning new recipes, and playing the violin.

Steve graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. He also holds an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Chiropody from the Michener Institute for the Applied Health Sciences. He has gained valuable experience working along with chiropody and wound care teams at Women’s College Hospital, Toronto Rehab Institute, and various CHCs in Toronto.

During his leisure time, he likes to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle by staying physically active through playing and coaching soccer.
